Yesterday at a very nice beach. The weather was not so good, cloudy and sometimes some small raindrops, but with 26 degrees we didn´t complain! It´s often 32-34 degrees here so it´s nice with some cloudy days

Animals here where we live. I have fallen in love with this pig. So cute and I say hi to him every day! He enjoys the mudd and the shadow in the afternoon. Here he is just 1 meter from where I pass when i´m walking to our house! The cow we passed when we went to the beach yesterday on the big road her at Samal island.

The owner of our house just told us that this creature sometimes comes to our place and walks around the house. I´m not sure I want to meet this animal in the darkness? It´s a big one 1 meter long, good we have flashlights. My mother would die if she saw it, me too i guess, ha ha! The swedish word for the animal is “varan”.

Two days ago we went to the city. Had to buy some things we needed. We live on an island and the philippine people don´t need so much for their living. They have here small shops and they are more or less like a market place with season fruit and vegetables you also find meat and a lot of fish. But butter, juice, cheese, oranges, cream and a lot more we european people are used to they don´t have. Many philippines don´t have a refridgerator. They eat rice with some fish or meat from animals they have in the garden. You see animals walking around on their own everywhere. We have cows 50 m from our house and when we shall go down to Lisas small shop there is a big pig, often it is laying in the grass and have a really nice time. Our dogs Emma and Elvira loves our garden, walking around the house and just enjoy their time as they want, that´s wonderful. Yesterday they took down a big tree in our garden, a man climbed up in the big tree without any security ropes, and after a guy with a chainsaw cut the tree into long planks. George also washed all our dirty clothes, my handy man! Here you don´t have washmachines, ha ha. Hens and cocks every family has so it´s quite noisy even at night. Good I have my earplugs with me. Still have the jetlag so wake up at 1 o´clock every night, hope I come in to the new rythm soon. Now it´s really dark outside and I´m sitting here alone on our terrace with my dog Emma.When it gets dark here, it´s very dark, you don´t see a thing without flashlight. I would not have lived here by myself on the top of a hill, like we do now alone. I’m not afraid of the dark, fortunately. Here is some pictures from our trip on monday to the town. Yesterday evening we arrived at Manila. A driver took us to the BED & BREAKFAST. A nice family place with a beautiful garden. Haven´t slept so much on the plane (30 minutes) or this night but am not so tired. Today we will take a new flight to Davao at Mindanao Island and from there a taxi to the harbour and then boat for 15 minutes to Samal island. When we arrive at Samal we will take motorbikes with all luggage, two dogs and dogcages. I am sure I will laugh a lot under that trip, also it will be dark and it´s no real roads to the house, ha ha. The sun and the philippin people goes up at 4-5 in the morning and it´s dark at 6 in the afternoon, that´s why they get up so early. Many goes out for fishing. Many feelings when I was sitting on the airplane leaving Spain yesterday. A beautiful country there I have been a lot since I was a child, but now time for something else. New places, new friends and new  opportunities. Tonight at 20.45 we leave Amsterdam. KLM Flight 807 if someone wants to follow our trip in the sky. We will arrive at Manila tomorrow evening their time at 19.30. A long trip it will take 15 hours. We go down for a short stop at Taipei in Taiwan and continue after 1,5 hours with the same airplane. Best trip I could find for the dogs and I want to be sure they arrive at the Manila airport with me. I belive I got all paper and permissions in order so the dog inspection will accept their entrance. I have followed all instructions so don´t belive it will be any problems. We will be picked up at the airport by the owner of the Bed & Breakfast there we will stay. We will spend at least one night there before we take off to Davao on the island Mindanao, haven´t booked that airplane tickets yet. Also we will be tired after the long trip so it will be nice with this stop. Soon leaving the hotel here in Amsterdam and is looking forward to a nice dinner at the airport before the take off.

Now in Amsterdam after some hours in the air with Transavia. The airport here is huge with a lot of people. We used the hotels shuttlebus and it´s not far from the airport. Took just 5 minutes to come here. The weather is the same here as in Sweden, the same smells from the trees and nature. A lot of green grass and the dogs were so happy running around and playing in it. The leaves falling down from the trees and it reminds me a lot of scandinavia. Only 11 degrees and I got no wintercoat with me, It´s just for one day here and I don´t want to bring it to the philippines. My jeansjacket and joggingpants are perfect to travel in. Now time for some dreams, the dogs are already sleeping beside me after a long long day and I will join them. Sleep tight!

Now time for some hours sleep, shall get up early. Have been so busy the last days with things to do before the take off. Tomorrow morning we leave lovely Spain and the airplane takes us to Amsterdam. The trip is long and I want the dogs to have a nice flight so we will spend one night there on a hotel. Sweet dreams!
